Crocheted Tunic Dress. FREE pattern.

The tunic is a very comfortable thing in the wardrobe, which can be worn both in summer and in winter. It can be combined with other types of clothes, getting stylish combinations. An openwork tunic can be worn with trousers, with jeans and even leggings.

This tunic has a very elegant neckline. Under this tunic, you can wear a T-shirt on straps, a turtleneck, blouse or shirt.

Yarn: Weight/Yardage Giava (71% viscose, 29% linen 50g/115yds): 650 (700) 750 g of gray yarn

Sizes: 8/10 (12/14) 16/18

Notions: Scissors, needle with large eye.

Crochet hook: F/5 (4 mm)

Crochet abbreviations: ch = chain, sc = single crochet, ss = slip stitch, st(s) = chain stitch(s), dc = double crochet.

GAUGE: 17 stitches worked in pattern for 12.5 rows. = 4″ square, 8 rows of sc = 1.5 inches in height.

Row 1: Chain 83 (91) 99. Turn your work. Sc each stitch. Turn.

Row 2: Chain 1, sc each stitch. Turn.

Row 26: Chain 1, sc each stitch. Break yarn and fasten off.

Assembly:

Arrange the front, back and sleeves, and, with yarn needle, stitch the top of shoulder, arm holes, side seams and sleeves together on the wrong side. Sew them together.

Attach yarn. Ch 1. Sc evenly around the neck, with 2 sc together in each corner of neck. Sl st to first sc. DO NOT TURN.

Ch 1, reverse sc, *skip next stitch, reverse sc in 2nd st* around.

Sc the bottom and the bottom of the sleeves with reverse sc. Ch 1, reverse sc, *skip next stitch, reverse sc in 2nd st* around.
