Turban FREE Crochet Pattern

Turbans, a stylish head accessory from 1920's, can be a gorgeous and unique accessory for anyone! This easy crochet pattern is worked up with simple stitches so everybody can make it.

At first make two strips. Ch 147 (54-55 cm) . Now we will sc back loops.

Sometimes it is confusing as to where you are suppose to insert your crochet hook, especially if you are a beginner. This picture labels the front and back loops of a stitch. The front loop is the one that is closest to you and the back loop is the one that is furthest from you when you hold your crochet work. Normally when you are crocheting you are suppose to crochet into both loops

Row 1: Skip 2 ch and sc back loops each st . Turn.

Row 2: ch 2 and sc back loops each st . Turn.

Row 3-4: repeat row 2. Break yarn and fasten off.

Make 2 strips.

Cross the strips as shown at the pictures below:

Sew the strips along the crocheting to the left of the knot.

Sew the strips along the crocheting to the right of the knot.

and sew across crocheting behind.
